Hello again!
Ahoy!
It was time to train ourselves again, in this case about robotics. It's the Joan Miro Grundshule (Berlin) who organizes this week and coincides with a very important event in her school, the Scratch day !!!
A day in which the entire school passes through different stands (science fair type) sorted progressively according to difficulty.
From small robots shaped like mice, bees, etc., plates that allow you to extract the keyboard to any other object that is a conductor of electricity, mini robots that fulfill the orders previously installed on the computer, computer applications that allow you to build scenes, until the creation of video games the sea of entertained!
We had a very interesting training session on "scratch". They use this free application to start programming easily. We found it very entertaining and we could see first hand, the amount of logical processes that are needed for our "orange cat" to do what we want it to do.
We were able to visit (something out of the ordinary) the house of Angela Merkel, better known as "the washing machine" (due to the shape of the building). It was a special visit throughout the house, meeting rooms, offices, etc. a very interesting visit and with extreme security measures. something surprising without a doubt.
We have really enjoyed this week and we bring, as always, new ideas to apply to our center.
